The Earlsiesta is a mid-season break in play following the Day 27 games where a Tarot reading occurs. Earlsiestas began in Season 12.

Following the end of play on Day 27, Fans are greeted with a screen reading "Please wait...", after which three arcana are drawn. The players from teams corresponding to the first and third drawn arcana will receive modifications, seemingly related to the second drawn arcana.

Kennedy Rodgers of the Chicago Firefighters, corresponding to XIIII Temperance, gained the Under Over modification. The Hellmouth Sunbeams, corresponding to XII The Hanged Man, did not receive any modifications from their drawing.

The San Francisco Lovers, corresponding to XX Judgment, are "GETTING OVER," and gained the Base Dealing seasonal modificaion. The Lovers' lineup was also "optimized," with their lineup taking on a new order.

Following the reading, Fans of all teams besides the Baltimore Crabs began contributing towards the construction of their Ballparks, with many teams completing funding in mere minutes. The Crabs were offered options for Renovations to improve their ballpark.

Season 14

The Season 14 Earlsiesta readings are as follows:

XI Strength

III The Empress

  • WYATT MASON, OVER

  • MOSES MASON, OVER
    • +  Receiver

The Tokyo Lift, corresponding to XI Strength, received the Receiver modification for Wyatt Quitter. Similarly, the Boston Flowers, corresponding to III The Empress, received the Receiver modification for Moses Mason. Fans have noted that both Wyatt Quitter and Moses Mason are survivors of the Wyatt Masoning. The arcana Fool corresponds to the Baltimore Crabs, the winners of Season 13, however, the emoji representing Fool appeared to change several times before the reading, sometimes showing the emojis for the Atlantis Georgias and Core Mechanics, but often showing the joystick emoji of Real Game Band, a team who only played during the inaugural Coffee Cup tournament.

Following the readings, Boss appeared to speak on the ongoing Flooding crisis, and announce the first upcoming Off Season. Teams were also invited to begin renovations on their Ballparks, with several unique options available among all ballparks.

Season 15

The Season 15 Earlsiesta readings are as follows:

immateria materia
V The Hierophant

III The Empress

  • FROM THE BRIDGE, DOWNSTREAM
  • BREATH MINTS, MIDDLE

In a surprise, the Season 14 champions, the Canada Moist Talkers, were drawn first, corresponding to V The Hierophant. Second was XIII, belonging to the Kansas City Breath Mints, who received the Middling modifcation for the remainder of Season 15. Finally, III The Empress was drawn for a second week in a row, corresponding to the Boston Flowers. The Flowers received the Afterparty modification, with a weekly duration.

Season 16

The Season 16 Earlsiesta readings are as follows:

Finally, drawn for the second week in a row was V The Hierophant, the card of the Season 15 champions, the Canada Moist Talkers.

In an unusual Earlsiesta reading, Lōotcrates arrived to speak about the Reader and the Historian. The reading in recent seasons has used the terms immateria and materia in different ways, but this season, each term was doubled, bookending the reading.

The Season 16 Champions, the Dallas Steaks, were once again not in the center position in the reading. The first was, for the second time in a row, XVI Tower, belonging to the Breckenridge Jazz Hands. Lineup player Baby Doyle was given the item Uncertain Necklace of Entanglement, which placed the modifications Entangled and Uncertain on them. The middle position was V The Hierophant, belonging to the Canada Moist Talkers. Nothing was granted to them. The final position, for the third season in a row, was IIII The Emperor, belonging to the Dallas Steaks. Their pitcher Orville Manco received the item Force Field of Observation, which granted them the modifications Force and Observed.

This time the introduction to the Earlsiesta reading was interrupted by the Boss, claiming that readings henceforth would be suspended; however, the reading proceeded as usual afterwards.

First in the reading was XIIII Temperance, belonging to the Chicago Firefighters, granting the Undertaker modification to Justice Spoon. Next was VII The Chariot, belonging to the LA Unlimited Tacos, placing the previous season's champion in the center for the first time since Season 14. Finally came VIII Justice, belonging to the Seattle Garages, granting the Undertaker modification to Lotus Mango.

Following the reading, the Gift Shop opened alongside Renovations, allowing teams to designate items desired at Latesiesta and receive funding from fans of other teams. Additionally, one new decree and several new blessings were added to the election ballot, with the same text styling as the reading, and the Alternate Trust will gained the same text styling.

Season 19

The Season 19 Earlsiesta readings are as follows:

This season isn't pretty

As with the previous season, the Boss appeared and confirmed the cancellation of the readings, but after some minutes of delay the reading proceeded regardless.

This reading, every team in the ILB was drawn in groups of three. The first team in each triplet was granted the Undertaker modification for one of their players; the second, the Uncertain modification; and the third, the new Seeker modification.

Also like the previous season, the election ballot was modified with several new additions.
