Fax Machine is a stadium modification will swap the home team's pitcher for the best pitcher from the team's Shadows whenever they've allowed 10+ runs in a game. Fax Machine was first offered as a renovation in Season β17. It was Ratified into Non-Physical Law in Season β23 when the Steaks placed a Fax Machine in The Steakhouse.

Fax Machine was nullified by Black Hole (Black Hole) on Season β24, Day 57.

History

Fax Machine was first offered as in Season β17 with the description: "The Fax Machine will offer you Shadow Relief, promoting your Best Pitcher from the Shadows in your time of need."

The first recorded Fax Machine activation occurred on Season 17, Day 74, when LA Unlimited Tacos pitcher Yummy Elliott was replaced by McBaseball Clembons. Clembons was notably not the best pitcher in the Tacos' Shadows, but was the best pitcher in the Tacos' Bullpen. However, Michelle Sportsman, their actual best pitcher was on the Bench, ultimately leading to the destruction of the Bench/Bullpen distinction.

Nullification

On Day 57, Guy Gulp of the Hellmouth Sunbeams nullified Fax Machine by scoring ten runs under the Black Hole (Black Hole).
