Season 13 began on March 08, 2021. The regular season will conclude on March 12, 2021 , followed by the postseason and 13th Internet Series on March 13, 2021. The Season 13 election will take place on March 14, 2021.

Notable Events

Ongoing Flooding

Despite assurances from Boss in the Preseason, Flooding continued to plague the League. Players were being swept off their bases regularly, and on occasion, swept  . Even more concerning was that when players returned from Elsewhere, they frequently were missing letters in their names. The first player to return like this was Beasley Day, who returned under the name "-easley Day." A few games later, Day's full name was restored, however, more and more players began returning with more and more letters missing from their names, such as when Juice Collins returned as "----e Col-i--". It is unknown at this time why this is happening or what it means if a player loses all the letters in their name.

Ballpark Construction

In the Season 13 Earlsiesta, the rest of the teams across the League began construction on their Ballparks. Many of them finished funding the stadium within minutes, with latecomers soon ensuring all teams were fully funded. Construction was completed for all Ballparks the following Latesiesta, with the Baltimore Crabs completing construction of the first Renovations, Inconvenience - and Peanut Mister.

MVP Voting

At the start of the season, the Idol board was updated with a new feature called MVP Voting. It reads "MVPs are selected each Endseason. Players above the line will be named season MVPs and will receive an Ego Boost." The aforementioned line is wavy with a golden color, similar to the text Boss speaks in.

Following the Day 99 games, Boss introduced the MVPs for this season, all of whom received the Modification Ego+, the effect of which is unknown at this time. The MVPs were:

The list of MVPs was influenced by a Fan-led effort called the "Dom Wom Joe Bong Yams Con MVP Plan Extravaganza with Pickles" which attempted to place several lower performing players in the Shadows and Hall of Flame on the leaderboard. The plan was intended to spite Boss, who is mistrusted by many fans due to her generally capitalist demeanor. Of the players targeted by this effort, Peanut Bong and the recently incinerated Sutton Picklestein were successfully pushed into position in time for the MVP selection.

Ongoing Decrees

• Eat The Rich (Season 3): Funds from the top 1% of coin-havers will be redistributed to the remainder of Fans at the end of the postseason. This decree will remain in effect indefinitely.
• Enhanced Party Time (Season 6): When a team is in Party Time -- mathematically eliminated from the postseason -- they'll have a chance of receiving random permanent stat boosts during their games.
• Wild Cards (Season 8): Every Season, a random team from each Subleague will leave Party Time to become the 5th Playoff team. A best of 3 Wild Card series will happen on Fridays.
• Based Evolution (Season 12): Every Third Championship a Team wins will cause the Team and its Players to Evolve. Players that round the phylogenic Bases will get to go Home.

Postseason

Four teams from each league advance to the post season: the winners of each division, and the next two best teams by win-loss record. As of Season 5, teams alternate home games with the higher seed hosting first. As of Season 9, a fifth team is chosen at random as a Wild Card. The Wild Card games are a first-to-two series while every other round is a first-to-three series.

The Decree with the most community votes will go into effect.

Each team is allowed to execute two wills per season.

Blessings

Each blessing will be awarded to a randomly selected player or team based. Votes from a team's fans increase the likelihood of that team receiving a blessing.

Unholey	The Black Hole will impair a random player on the other team by 1% anytime your Team activates it.
High Pressure	Your Team plays 25% better when Runners are On Base in Flooding Weather.
Peanut Butter	One Player on your Team becomes Chunky, one becomes Smooth.
Spare Flippers	Two Random players in your Team's lineup get Flippers.
Stow Away	Hatch a rookie from the Field of Eggs to join your Rotation.
Pitching Flotation Bubble	Your entire Division's pitching is boosted by 4%.
Hitting Flotation Bubble	Your entire Division's hitting is boosted by 4%.
Defense Flotation Bubble	Your entire Division's defense is boosted by 4%.
Baserunning Flotation Bubble	Your entire Division's baserunning is boosted by 4%.

Feedback Swaps

When any player is in a game during Feedback weather, there is a chance reality will "flicker in the feedback" and two players will permanently swap team membership. Known cases of this in Season 13 are listed below.

Reverb Shuffles

When any team is in a game during Reverb weather, there is a chance that some portion of their roster will get shuffled. Reverb can change the order of the lineup, rotation, or the whole team. If the entire lineup is shuffled, there is a chance that batters will become pitchers and vice versa. Known cases of this in Season 13 are listed below.
