Summers Pony
Summers Pony is a pitcher for the Seattle Garages, and has been with the team since Season 18, Day 14. Pony has previously played for the Dallas Steaks and Philly Pies.

Pony joined the ILB as a lineup player for the Dallas Steaks with the Return of Blaseball.
On Season 6, Day 62, Pony siphoned some of Hawai'i Fridays lineup player Karato Bean's defensive ability in a game with Blooddrain weather, increasing it from to .
On Season 7, Day 86, some of Pony's defensive ability was siphoned by Hades Tigers lineup player Usurper Violet in a game with Blooddrain weather, decreasing it from to . On Season 7, Day 99, Pony partied and increased each rating by -star.
On Season 8, Day 27, Pony was exchanged to the Philly Pies due to Feedback. Pony was replaced by Rai Spliff. On Day 102 Pony was again exchanged, this time to the Seattle Garages, due to Feedback. Pony was replaced by Farrell Seagull.
During the Coffee Cup, Pony played for FWXBC as a pitcher.
During the Season 14 elections, Pony retreated to the Garages' Shadows in exchange for Oliver Loofah as a result of the Garages' Foreshadow will, resulting in a combined 11.9 → 12.5 stat increase.
On Season 18, Day 14, Pony rejoined the Garages' active roster in exchange for Lenny Marijuana as a result of The Hotdogfingers Memorial Climate Pledge Garage and Parking Facility's Fax Machine, becoming a pitcher in the process.
On Season 19, Day 30, Pony retreated to the Garages' Shadows in exchange for Durham Spaceman as a result of The Hotdogfingers Memorial Climate Pledge Garage and Parking Facility's Fax Machine. On Day 79, Pony rejoined the Garages' active roster in exchange for Nolanestophia Patterson via the Fax Machine.
On Season 20, Day 95, Pony retreated to the Garages' Shadows in exchange for Penelope Mathews as a result of The Hotdogfingers Memorial Climate Pledge Garage and Parking Facility's Fax Machine.

Career in Dallas
Although it is unclear how Summers Pony, an incredibly buff horse, first learned to play blaseball, Pony trotted onto the field at a Dallas Steaks practice. Despite the rule that horses are not allowed to participate, all in attendance were too intimidated by Pony's muscularity to try to turn them away. Any lingering thoughts of stopping this monolith of equine flesh disappeared after Pony hit a triple in their first at-bat, and they were promptly signed to a multi-year contract.
Pony was fourth in the Steaks' rotation, an above average hitter, and a challenge to all traditional notions of what it means to be a horse.
Career in Philly
Pony was switched with Rai Spliff to the Philly Pies during a season 8 feedback. Upon Rai's departure, Pies GM Sam Hinkie loudly and angrily bemoaned to anyone who would listen that they had just ordered a shipping crate of Pies-branded rollerskates for Rai. As a joke, JT put two pairs of skates over Summers' hooves and convinced them that it was part of the uniform for the fourth-hitter position. Hinkie, eager not to let those skates go to waste, quickly agreed. Summers, unable to meaningfully propel themself in the skates, is pushed around the bases by Ruslan Greatness, the only team member large enough to shoulder this burden.
Since arriving in Philadelphia Pony has become close friends with Beasley Day, the two of them often chilling together on the grass between games. The interspecies friendship has proven to be a source of delight for many flans. Pictures of the two often adorn many of the more clickbaity Pies social media pages.
Career in Seattle
Pony was swapped with Farrell Seagull to the Seattle Garages during a season 8 feedback. When asked about their newest addition, Team Captain Theodore Duende was cited saying "We've gotten a duck, a cyborg, a catgirl, a temporary heavy metal grandma, and a plant person this season, so this may as well happen, too. Everyone is capable of being a Garage, the more the merrier, honestly."
Shortly after their arrival, their rollerskates broke. The team attempted to let them run the bases without skates, however this proved difficult for Pony, given their penchant to show trot and not reach the base in time. To remedy this, Oliver "Oll-E" Notarobot and Oliver Mueller collaborated in fixing and upgrading Pony's skates into horsepowered rollerskates. The upgrades include heavy duty all terrain tires, reinforced leg supports, and signal lights. A number of bumper stickers have been placed on them. The process was difficult, given Pony's distaste of their hocks being handled, but was ultimately worth it. Pony has taken to these alternate skates well, and even allows Notarobot to assist them with putting them on and taking them off.
Pony is a member of the "Street Animals" group founded by Oliver Mueller, a group dedicated to teaching animals how to skate. As expected, they are proving to be a natural at not only horsepowered rollerskates, but skateboarding as well.
Pony has expressed curiosity in Quack Enjoyable's magical bat. After seeing it transform him from a duck into a handsome half human, Pony has been seen attempting to obtain the bat on numerous occasions, but as the bat is kept in the Garages storage, Pony is always discovered before being able to touch the magical bat. When asked why Enjoyable won't simply let Pony hold the bat for a moment, Enjoyable was quoted saying, "I don't think the world is ready for Magical Summers Pony quite yet." The rest of the team nodded in agreement.
Music
Like any member of the Garages, Summers Pony is an important member of the band. Pony plays the harmonica via a special rig strapped to their neck as well as a specialty DDR pad hooked up to a midi sampler. In their downtime they have been learning how to play the saxophone, but as they need to be lying on their back to do so, it's proven to have a bit of a learning curve. Pony hopes to some day master the song "Careless Whisper" by George Michael.
Party Time Debut
After practicing for months in Season 9, Pony surprised everyone by performing a saxophone solo during game 91 against the Charleston Shoe Thieves and being the first of the Garages to party. This performance was so great, even star pitcher Betsy Trombone was distracted by it, causing her to give up a walk. Pony is now an official member of the Skarages, much to the delight of Oliver Mueller.

Summers Pony is a Mexican-American human woman who grew up in the town of Eternal Springs, TX. While the circumstances of her family’s long history with the town would seem inconsequential to anyone unfamiliar with the region, those in the know would be unsurprised to find out that the Pony family, like many residents of Eternal Springs, are time travelers.
Summers herself discovered her own time-traveling abilities at a young age. From any point in time, if she concentrates on the path forward or backward, she can travel up to one season of the year forward or backward in time. In interviews, Pony has indicated that ability can theoretically be chained to travel further than one season at a time, but that the effort is typically too exhausting to maintain for more than ████ jumps.
An only child, Pony’s largely idyllic youth was spent exploring the plains and dusty fields of the secretive desert town on her own. The town’s many residents, most of whom were time travelers or retired time travelers from a smattering of eras and locales, shared with her a smorgasbord of skills and hobbies, few of which she stuck with for long. As the town itself functioned in a bubble outside of time, Pony grew up in an anachronistic era all her own, learning from the many futuristic tinkerers, expert artisans, and ancient figures who called Eternal Springs home.
“I spent a lot of time on my own as a little kid, or with my parents, but mostly just wandering around, messing with things, doing them over. But I think the summer of [unintelligible] is really when I started to get to know myself and what I can do. But I guess everybody thinks that they know themselves really well when they’re a little kid, yknow?" (Excerpt from radio interview with Summers Pony, season 5)
Early Blaseball Career
Pony’s relatively reclusive hometown was eventually put on the map, not by Pony herself, but by her fellow time traveler and childhood best friend, Jessica Telephone, and her family. The Telephones moved to the town shortly after Jess herself had come out, and Pony and Telephone quickly became friends, despite the disparity in their respective time-traveling abilities.
Throughout their youth, the two were reportedly inseparable, though the length and duration of their friendship is admittedly difficult to trace through stretches of nonlinear time. At some point, the two, along with Jess’s brother, were recruited to join the Dallas Steaks Blaseball team, and the burgeoning splorts press at the time captured several photos of Telephone and Pony practicing together, repeating the same pitch-hit rhythm over and over until they got it right. Other photos show the two, at seemingly the same exact time, in other places in town, getting ice cream, exploring the grounds of the Steakhouse, attending concerts, roller-skating, and other largely innocuous activities made unusual by their evident occurrence in different places at the same moment.
“Yeah, I guess you could say Jess and I used to be close. [A pause] We both wanted to be good at something, or known for something, and I think…I don’t know, maybe some people are just luckier or unluckier than others. [Another long pause] She and I used to practice together a lot, especially back in the spring of [unintelligible], during the off-season before season 2…we didn’t practice together much more after that point.” (Excerpt from radio interview with Summers Pony, season 8)
When Jessica Telephone was traded to the Pies, in season 2, team gossip magazines noted that few sightings of her and Pony followed. Pony has said in interviews that the two remained friends, but indicated that they “drifted” after a time and would not elaborate further.
Pony herself was traded to the Pies through feedback in season 8, following a whirlwind of chaos in the wake of the resurrection of Jaylen Hotdogfingers and Telephone’s own shelling and subsequent freeing. The two reportedly reunited on the Pies, but on unknown terms.
Shortly after Jess was shelled for a second time, Pony feedbacked away from the Pies.

Travel records from the offseason of season 8 show that Pony traveled to multiple locations at once on the West Coast after her feedback to the Seattle Garages.
“I got tired of being sent places by someone else, I guess, and I wanted to go someplace on my own that winter. Someplace cold, where it actually snowed. I’d never actually seen snow before, except, like, when we played the Jands. Places without teams, like in Oregon or Wyoming, yknow. I have some pictures from that trip around here somewhere, if I didn’t lose them the last time I moved. I traveled around a lot after the seasons ended, too, during the big siesta.” (Excerpt from radio interview with Summers Pony, season 12)
On the Seattle Garages
Pony took the chance to expand some of her own interests upon her trade to the Garages. She got into playing alto saxophone in the Seattle Garages HLONK Activist Street Band, and began practicing roller skating again with Ollie Mueller—a skill, she said in an interview, she hadn’t tried since she was young. At the encouragement of some eager Li’l Roadies, and after several repeated winters of practice, Pony joined and assumed a leadership role in the Jerboa Junction Roller Derby team. Her signature move, which involves playing alto saxophone while skating backwards in loop-de-loops in order to distract her opponents, has reportedly been classified as “banned” by several community leagues for its overpowered effectiveness. Though her attempt at starting up a community theater stint was short lived, Pony reportedly began a warm friendship with Lang Richardson while they were both on the Pies. Richardson, a known fan of gossip, drama, and intrigue, denies that he or Pony have ever “misused time travel powers” for the purpose of gossip, drama, or intrigue. Now that Lang has returned to the Garages, he has been quoted in interviews as saying that he and Pony will certainly not get up to gossip, drama, or intrigue in Seattle.
Pony also became close with Garages and later Tigers batter Paula Turnip, after the two swapped recommendations on hair care products. The two seem to have gotten along well, though in an interview, Turnip reportedly asked that Pony stand at a distance if she is going to “do any of that time travel stuff” because “it makes all my vines spoil for some reason.”
“Yeah, I’ve gotten involved in a bunch of different things since I got here. Our roller derby team is getting good, and Olive might actually take my spot as leader sometime soon–okay, look, can you stop asking me about that? I have a whole career of my own and all you people ever ask me about is–just forget it.” (Excerpt from radio interview with Summers Pony, season 14)
Pony took some time off from active play on the team between season 14 and season 18. In her free time, and through multiple repeated seasons worth of practice, she worked on brushing up on her childhood Spanish and on learning Lengua de Señas Mexicana. She picked up flower arranging as a hobby, and has gotten really good at making those little woven string bracelets you do at summer camp. During the first weeks of season 18, Pony reportedly visited Eternal Springs, which in recent years has become much more of a time-tourist trap than a small town, but her trip was cut short by the call of the Big Garage’s Fax Machine on Day 14. Since then, Pony has served as a pitcher for the Garages.
"Yeah, I have gone home a few times. It’s not that exciting, I mean, everybody has a hometown, and it’s never how you remember it. I...I’m sorry. When Pony joined the team, she was known for often dressing in flowing, bohemian-style clothes. Around the time of the end of season 18, Pony started experimenting with other styles of fashion. She has gotten to know fellow time traveler Fitzgerald Wanderlust, and during her intermittent periods in the Shadows due to the Fax Machine, has spent a lot of time in Wanderlust’s tailor shop in the Seattle Shadows Co-Op, Perfect Fitz. She and Wanderlust collaborate on a YlouTube fashion channel that discusses the recreation of historical fashions. Despite her name, and despite growing up in Texas, Pony never did learn how to ride a horse.
