In Season β21, the Tokyo Lift landed solidly in the Underbracket following a poor performance. Their losses were due in no small part to the incineration of team stalwart Gerund Pantheocide in the beginning of the season.

Post Election

Season Overview

Early in the season, the Lift found themselves hit hard by the loss of yet another captain when Gerund Pantheocide was incinerated on Day 12. Following this tragedy, the team doggedly pursued the Underbracket, and eventually placed as the third seed. They were defeated in the second round by the Hellmouth Sunbeams.

During the election, the Lift received a Free Will. They used one Will to Magnify lead-off hitter Yusef Fenestrate and another to Shadow Infuse Steals Mondegreen. They also sent batter Freemium Seraph to the Canada Moist Talkers in exchange for original team member Cudi Di Batterino. Meanwhile the Charleston Shoe Thieves chose to reclaim pitcher Inky Rutledge, sending their own Terrell Bradley in exchange.
