Season Overview
The Lift had a stronger season than previous, albeit only slightly. Team worst batter Gumdrop Che Amran showed a marked performance following their Zone heating up in the last election, but the Lift still struggled with defense and ultimately entered Party Time on Day 74.
In addition to struggles with performance, the Lift found themselves cursed by Bard Umpires. Batter Tiana Takahashi was the first player to dodge a curse from a Bard Umpire. Later in the season, batter Özlem Suttner was Cursed with Can't Lose. Suttner later went on to win the championship as part of the Moab Hellmouth Sunbeams, making them the first Lift alumna of the new era to win a championship ring.
In the elections, Lift fans were shocked and dismayed when the team won the Rogue Strike blessing, leading to the incineration of Johnnyboy Aster on the division rival Ohio Worms.
