Season Overview

With the passage of the Turntables decree, all Wins were converted into Unwins, which were worth -1 Wins. This meant that the standings were inverted, and that teams that lost more games were at the top of their division. The Lift, having been doing poorly for the past several seasons, realized it was their time to shine and ended with a 46-53 record, placing them fourth in the Wild League. This marked the first time that the Lift qualified for the playoffs outside the Wild Card round.

In the postseason itself, games continued as normal: Wins were Wins. The Lift found themselves as one of the best teams in the playoffs. In Round 1, they defeated the wildcard Firefighters 2-1. In Round 2, they defeated the league-worst Wild Wings 3-1. In the semifinals, they defeated the Flowers 3-2. And lastly, in a hard-fought championship match, the Lift defeated the Garages 3-2 and won the Season 19 Internet Series.

Following their victory, the Lift had five roster changes in the election, the most that they had ever experienced simultaneously. The team chose to foreshadow hitter Silvaire Semiquaver in exchange for a recently-infused Kit Honey. Halexandrey Walton returned to the Yellowstone Magic in exchange for Evelton McBlase II. Stalwart pitcher Cudi Di Batterino was traded to the Canada Moist Talkers in exchange for Goobie Ballson. Lastly the team saw Cory Ross and Jessica Telephone return to the Dallas Steaks in exchange for Engine Eberhardt and Kline Greenlemon respectively. New member Greenlemon went on to receive the Outdoorsy modification after the Lift won the blessing of the same name.
