History

Modifications first manifested at the end of Season 4 due to the two chosen decrees: Alternate Reality and Targeted Shame. Alternate Reality applied the Alternate modification to a random hitter and pitcher on each team. Targeted Shame was applied to the top four teams in Season 4: the Chicago Firefighters, New York Millennials, Hades Tigers, and Breckenridge Jazz Hands.

The Reverberating modification first appeared on Day 45 of Season 5 during the San Francisco Lovers and Hawaii Fridays game. Reverberations reached dangerous levels and caused Lovers player Don Mitchell to gain the modification.
