The Depth Chart is a visualization of the Plane first provided in Season 20. Here, the plane is illustrated as a football field, with its graph bounded as -1 ≤ x ≤ 1 and 0 ≤ y ≤ 2. This graph is mostly intended to illustrate how Levels work - when a team sinks above the MVP line at y = 1, they are at risk of Consumers. The x values on this visualization matter very little, as the only two locations illustrated on it are Blaseball 0 and Blaseball 2, and are reached by Teams based only on their y value.

The Map (seen at top of page) is a visualization of the Plane first provided in Season 24. This illustration is a square divided into four segments that serve as divisions, and its graph is bounded by -1 ≤ x ≤ 1 and -1 ≤ y ≤ 1. Teams could Navigate this map, and is notably different from the Depth Chart in that its x values mattered much more due to the addition of two new locations in Black Hole (Black Hole) and the Hall. Teams needed to match both their x and y value in order to reach a location on the Map.

It remained in its Depth Chart form until Season 24's Earlsiesta when the Map was unveiled. Following this, Teams could navigate the Plane under their own power for the remainder of the season, with the goal of reaching one of the corners of the Map. During Season 24, Blaseball 2 gave its position on the Immaterial Plane to the Vault, turning from y = 2 to (1, 1).
*It is unknown whether the Immaterial Plane resides purely within two-dimensional space or if it is a plane in a higher dimension. Notably, if the latter is true, eDensity's mechanics involving buoyancy imply that it is not parallel to the xy-plane as would be assumed for most planar universes.

Blaseball 2 is a location first discovered during Season 11 as a result of the Ascension of the Baltimore Crabs the Season prior. On the Depth Chart, it is located at y = 2. It is connected to the Vault, but the specifics of the connection are unknown.

Description

Blaseball 2 can be found at blaseball2.com. It is an expanse of clouds with a large, red gate at the center that, as of Season 21, has been smashed to unleash Pickled Herring.

In the December 15th, 2020 Inside a Blaseball stream, it was stated that the Shelled One is from Blaseball 2.[1]

Big Leagues

The Big Leagues are a mysterious aspect of Blaseball 2. After Ascending, the Baltimore Crabs played in them, and after the Descension, the Atlantis Georgias, Core Mechanics, and Ohio Worms joined the Crabs in being Teams that likely used to play in the Big Leagues. Any specifics as to what play is like in the Big Leagues is unknown, with the exception of teams there being significantly more powerful than the Season 11 Crabs.

History

The Telescope seen during Season 11.

Discipline Era

During Season 10, the Baltimore Crabs Ascended as a result of winning their third Championship. However, it was unknown where they went until partway through Season 11, where the Groundskeepers of the Discord server (and later other Fans) discovered blaseball2.com, which at the time showed the Crabs' emoji behind a gate along with the 1-Blood Blagonball behind a cloud. Throughout Season 11, the Telescope widget on the Bulletin was visible, showing the Crabs losing every game except one while playing in the Big Leagues.

Expansion Era

The gate after being smashed.

After the Descension in Season 12, the Crabs' emoji was removed from behind the gate of Blaseball 2. The website remained relatively inactive until the resurrection of Chorby Soul onto the Seattle Garages in Season 15, where upon the Garages hitting Level AAAAA, the red gate warped along with a tweet from Parker MacMillan IIIII asking about "that loud noise." Soul was once again resurrected onto the New York Millennials, causing further warping and another concerned tweet.

The gate remained severely warped until Season 21, Day 75, in which the Ohio Worms utilized a combination of their Heavy-Handed Modification, a Chorby Soul Replica, and the partnership of two Uncle Plasma and Liquid Friend Replicas in order to reach y = 2 on the Depth Chart. Upon hitting Level AAAAA, the gate at Blaseball 2 finally broke, unleashing Pickled Herring upon the league. Using Herring, Fans could unredact redacted Feed items.

During Season 24, Blaseball 2 gave its position on the Immaterial Plane to the Vault, turning from y = 2 to (1, 1).
