Season 9 was historic for the Fridays, who earned a then-record-setting speedrun to elimination from the postseason and into Party Time. Despite this, the Fridays, alongside the Firefighters, were selected for the Postseason due to the Wild Cards decree, marking the Fridays first recorded postseason appearance in the Discipline Era.
