Season Overview

As the most complicated times of the Expansion Era started to peak, the Fridays took their leave from the top of the Mild Low bracket. After a series of Voicemail triggers shuffled the lineup, introducing new players and stocking old favorites in the Shadows, the Fridays were promoted to 2nd seed in the Underbracket when the previous 2 seed Moist Talkers were pulled as mild cards in the Overbracket. The Fridays failed to lose enough to proceed to the Underbracket Internet Series, beating the New York Millennials by shaming them in the fifth game and being elminated.

The Fridays won a stunning five blessings at elections. Two were focused on alternating the team to gain the Negative mod, which would help keep the team at C Level. Two others brought Don Mitchell's ego lower: while he had been moved to the Rotation with the intention to keep him off the Idol Board, he was still named MVP, and this dispersal of Ego was welcome. The final one avoiding making one of the Fridays' remaining pitchers a Subtractor.

While Will votes did retrieve star pitcher Juice Collins from the San Francisco Lovers, other teams had other plans for Fridays remaining MVP slugger Beck Whitney. The Millenials traded for Whitney, only for new trade Castillo Turner to be sent to the Boston Flowers effectively without replacement. This season ended with the Fridays rotation in a better place, but the lineup was effectively gutted, half comprised of new players only recently emerged from the Shadows.
