Targeted Shame

Targeted Shame is a Team modification. It causes teams who are shamed to start their next game with negative runs.

Effect

When a team has Targeted Shame, any time they are shamed they start the next game with a number of negative runs equal to the number of runs they were shamed by.

History

Targeted Shame first appeared in the Season β4 Election as a part of the Targeted Shame decree. This was passed with 32% of the vote, and applied Targeted Shame as a Seasonal modifier to the 4 top teams in the league:

In the Season β7 Election, Targeted Shame returned as a part of the The Shame Bubble blessing. It was won by the Hawai'i Fridays, and applied Targeted Shame to all of the teams in the Wild High, Mild High, and Wild Low Divisions. Over the course of Season 8, the Shame Pit was activated 62 times.

In the Season β9 Election, Targeted Shame returned again as a part of the The Shame Bubble blessing. It was won by the Boston Flowers, and applied Targeted Shame to all of the teams in the Wild High, Mild High, and Mild Low Divisions. Over the course of Season 10, the Shame Pit was activated 63 times.
