In Season 16 the Charleston Shoe Thieves ended with the same 43-56 record as during the previous regular season. They made the postseason as the Wild Card in the Mild League.

During this season, the Shoe Thieves experienced their first Feedback since the removal of the Noise Canceling-Headphones, and therefore their first Feedback since Beasley Gloom and Jaylen Hotdogfingers in Season 9.

Roster Changes

In Season 16, the Shoe Thieves experienced a Feedback and an allergic reaction:

  • On Day 23, the Crabitat's Peanut Mister cured Esme Ramsey of their Peanut Allergy.
  • On Day 64, Howell Franklin was caught in the Feedback against the Seattle Garages, exchanged for Oliver Loofah.
    • Loofah was Shelled at the time of Feedback. Howell Franklin being at-bat, Loofah ended up drawing a walk and was batted-in by a home run from Hotbox Sato, inhabiting Esme Ramsey. This was the first time a Shelled player scored a run.
  • On Day 42, Simon Haley ate a stray peanut and had an allergic reaction.
  • On Day 95, Oliver Loofah was freed from their shell.
    • This was the Shoe Thieves' only Bird game of the season.

The Shoe Thieves entered Party Time on Day 90 and experienced 8 parties:

Upon qualifying for the postseason, the Shoe Thieves earned Drosophila Fashion as a postseason birth.
