This page details the Charleston Shoe Thieves Fan Awards. Starting in Season 3, Shoe Thieves fans began nominating and voting in players to receive various awards.

Awards

The Jonbois Award

Named for Atlas Jonbois, this award celebrates the best hitter as voted by fans at the end of the season. The Jonbois Award was introduced in Season 5.

The Prestige Award

Named for Matteo Prestige, this award celebrates the best pitcher as voted by fans at the end of the season. The Prestige Award was introduced in Season 5.

Honor Among Thieves

This award celebrates the fan favorite player of the year. Honor Among thieves was introduced in Season 3.

Workman Gloom MVP Award

Named for Workman Gloom, this award celebrates the best Blaseball player as voted by fans at the end of the season. The Workman Gloom MVP Award was introduced in Season 3 and renamed from "The Splorts Award" in Season 8.

Hitter of the Year

This award is given to the hitter who was voted MVP at the end of each game most by fans. Hitter of the Year was introduced in Season 4 and phased out in Season 6.

Pitcher of the Year

This award is given to the pitcher who was voted MVP at the end of each game most by fans. Pitcher of the Year was introduced in Season 4 and phased out in Season 6.

MVPenguin

Most Valuable Penguin. MVPenguin was introduced in Season 4.

The Morrow Doyle Grand Unslam Memorial Trophy

Named for Morrow Doyle, the catalyst of the Grand Unslam, this award celebrates the most memorable moment of the year as voted by fans at the end of the season. The Morrow Doyle Grand Unslam Memorial Trophy was introduced in Season 4.

Freebooter Award

This award is given to the Shoe Thief player who stole the most shoes this year. The Freebooter Award was introduced in Season 3.

Shock and/or Horror

For better or for worse, this award is given to the most surprising player as voted by fans at the end of the season. Shock and/or Horror was introduced in Season 4.

Annual Obelisk Induction Award

This award is given to one deceased Shoe Thief every year, as voted by fans. The recipient's name is carved into the Sunken Charleston Remembrance Obelisk. The Annual Obelisk Induction Award for Excellence was introduced in Season 3 and renamed from "The Hall of Flame Award" in Season 8.
