Famous Owens is a player for the Hawai'i Fridays and has been with the team since Fall Ball. Owens has played for the Hades Tigers and Breckenridge Jazz Hands.

Official League Records

Owens joined the ILB as a pitcher for the Hades Tigers with the Return of Blaseball.

Owens pitched a game in all three series of the Tigers' Season β4 championship run, and went undefeated en route to the league title, an accolade shared with Yazmin Mason.

In the Season β9 elections, Owens was affected by the Tag Team Pitching blessing, increasing their pitching rating from to .

During the Tigers' Season β12 push for a championship, Owens pitched three games, recording two shut outs and conceding only a single run, proving instrumental in the Tigers winning their third title. Significantly, Owens would pitch the first perfect game under the Tigers' name during the 4th and final game of the Wild League Finals against the Hellmouth Sunbeams with 7 strikeouts recorded. Subsequently, Owens Evolved to Base 1, protecting their stars from dropping below 1.

In the Season β14 elections, Owens benefited from the Non-Dominant Arms blessing, increasing their pitching 3.4 ★-> 3.6 ★.

Owens gained Fire type blood in the Season β16 elections as a result of the Fiery blessing.

During the Season β18 elections, Owens Evolved from Base 1 to Base 2 as a result of the Targeted Evolution Blessing, thus becoming the first player in the ILB to reach Base 2.

During the Season β19 elections, Owens retreated to the Tigers' Shadows in exchange for Mummy Melcon as a result of the Tigers' Foreshadow will, resulting in a combined 16.2 → 16.7 stat increase.

On Season β21, Day 114, Owens joined the Tigers' lineup in exchange for Matteo Triumphant at Sixth Circle Stadium via the Ratified Voicemail.

During the Season β21 elections, Owens' batting increased from 4.2 → 5.4 as a result of the Tigers' Shadow Infuse Will.

On Season β23, Day 95, Owens was exchanged to the Breckenridge Jazz Hands due to Feedback. Owens was replaced by Spears Rogers. The two were exchanged back to their original teams later that game in the last possible moment.

On Season β24, Day 1, Owens siphoned some of Atlantis Georgias hitter Geraldine Frost's batting ability in a game with Blooddrain weather.

During the December 16, 2022 Fall Ball, Owens fell to the Hawai'i Fridays.

The 'Woe Moss Faun' Famous Owens is a faun residing in Tartarus who has been playing blaseball, so they claim, since before the sport was invented. They are very proud of their coat of fur, which harbours a natural growth of shimmering green moss that results in a resplendent finish. A theatrical individual with a penchant for melodramatically flinging themself about as soon as anything remotely inconveniences them, their team begrudgingly tolerates Owens due to their unerring knowledge of any party within a ten mile radius. Their team regrets this decision whenever Owens shows up nursing a hangover and/or decides that 'it's too lit' for them to pitch normally.

Upon being shadowed in Season β19, Owens dedicated themself to a series of short-lived enterprises, including opening their own Tartarus nightclub (closed for being 'too much party for The Man to handle', supposedly), starting up their own fashion line (went bust due to Owens' exacting standards of quality control), and supporting Kick Rocks as an assistant pitching coach (kicked out for using this as an excuse to heckle Hiroto Wilcox and enable Dunlap Figueroa's constant monologuing). They eventually settled into instructing dance choreography for a local theatre troupe, with a side role as an assistant sloccer coach, where Owens' vast experience of feigning injury has come in handy.

Owens claims not to miss playing blaseball, since obviously everyone else requires centuries of game time in order to catch up to them, but they have yet to miss a home game while shadowed, and can often be seen with a wistful expression on their face.

• Supposedly Owens was close in some regard to Yazmin Mason, but they go uncharacteristically tight-lipped whenever the deer pitcher is brought up.

Trivia

• In spite of their manifold interdimensional manifestations, a consistent aspect of Owens is their friendship with Dunlap Figueroa. This was on full display during the Season β16 wild card round; after Figueroa was attacked by Consumers, Owens thwarted the second attempt by storming the field of play with their bat in hand, shattering it across a consumer's head to defend their teammate.
• Ayanna Dumpington is the bane of the existence of at least some of the Famouss, such as 11.903 (raccoon), 12.19 (Other), 18.18 (maybe Zeus?), 27.614 (deeply sketchy demon) due to her constantly insisting that they hydrate and cannonballing into the team pool/Owens' pool whenever they is in the splash zone. Famous Owens IF-238.91 doesn't really understand all the fuss, but thinks Dumpington is doing a just swell job.
  • Nonetheless, Owens delights in helping Dumpington find the most flamboyant and fashionable of new fits.
• Owens appears friendly with new Tiger Lottie Ceilingfan, though the details of their friendship are unknown. The younger player appears to be on good terms with Owens with Owens taking an almost older siblinglike relationship with her.
