The Seattle Garages are traveling the [[Immaterial Plane]] on a train which never stops for long. In 20XX, [[Mt Rainier]] violently erupted, destroying [[Seattle]] and most of the Pacific Northwest and triggering a volcanic winter. Now, the remains of Seattle ride the rails, wandering the frozen world with only a train to call home.

Blaseball can never stop, so the Garages play despite the apocalypse. Their home games take place on the train itself, or in adjacent fields. The games are a welcome distraction from the work needed to keep the train going, and the Band has gotten pretty good at them.

COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

The Seattle Garages are ILB Champions. Since their assembly by team captain Lincoln Blortles, the team has been wildly successful, earning the most wins of any team in the inaugural season of the ILB and taking home a well deserved trophy in Season 2. In addition to their efforts on the field, the Garages are also a successful folkpunk band. The Band plays out of Seattle, a small rural city located in the Duwamish Valley and surrounded by acres of farmland, including Farms of the Greater Seattle Area#Honeycrisp Orchard. Recently, a large corporation headed by Homespun Eric has been attempting to commercialize the surrounding area, buying up land and opening Farms of the Greater Seattle Area#Arrow Acres Berry Farm And Amusement Park, which is, according to Garages pitcher Miria Senior, "A rather gauche tourist trap 'inspired' by the area." Community efforts are ongoing to prevent the further spread of this new corporation.

The Garages play their home games at Hotdogfingers Memorial Climate Pledge Garage and Parking Facility. The Big Garage, as it is also known, was formerly an airplane hanger, but was reclaimed by the team after it was abandoned due to the premature collapse of Bloeing, an unsuccessful aerospace company.

The Garages are an anarcho-syndicalist collective.
