Description

Phineas Wormthrice is a being composed of yarn, clay, and worms. Eir ability to shift eir form means ey always look different, although ey are recognisable by a few distinctive characteristics — being made of these materials, a jester's hat or bowtie, eir use of plural pronouns and the royal ‘we’, and eir distinctive style of movement. Ey have been described as moving 'like a stop motion animation', in a stuttering, disjointed manner.

History

It is unknown how Wormthrice ended up in the Shadow Moabbey or why eir time in the Shadows was so shockingly short. Gaining any information on Wormthrice’s existence before the Moabbey is also, seemingly, impossible, though some speculate ey may be some sort of infernal, abyssal, or astral creature. None of these claims are confirmed.

Despite expectations based on eir name, Wormthrice has repeatedly stated that ey have no idea what a worm is. Ey often offer compensation to any individual who can tell em what a worm is, and upon encountering any new item will ask whether it is a worm. Searching for ‘worms’ is how ey often spend eir time between games. Upon questioning the Sunbeams have confirmed that yes, ey have been shown a real worm. This does not appear to have slowed eir quest.

Career With The Sunbeams

Wormthrice has a unique relationship with many members of the team, some of whom may be put off by eir habit of rummaging through the trash, muttering to emself. Ey may be seen assisting Eugenia Bickle in her greenhouse, being thrown long distances by Jayden Wright, or running away from Kaz Fiasco screaming. As charming as Wormthrice’s antics are to fans, ey seemingly incite notable amounts of chaos within the team itself, especially enacting strange responses from Lars Taylor. Taylor has been quoted as saying that star doesn’t like what star sees ‘between eir frames’.
