In Season 5 the Charleston Shoe Thieves finished 7th in the Good League and did not qualify for the postseason for the first time since Season 1. At 46-53, Season 5 was their first season with a negative record.

As part of the High Filter decree, the Shoe Thieves were moved to the Mild Low division during the Season 5 Elections.
