Season Overview

Gate Crash

In Season 21, the Worms decided to participate in classic Blaseball shenanigans, and uncover some truths along the way. The groundwork for this plan was laid in the previous season when the team won the  Heavy-Handed modification via a Blessing.

In the Earlsiesta, Worms fans saw their chance to make their chaotic dreams a reality. The team requested, and received, Chorby Soul, Soul Edition from the Gift Shop. Chorby Soul IV came with an incredibly eDense soul that sent the Worms rocketing down the ratings. While this put the Worms at risk for attacks from Consumers, the team had also received replicas Uncle Plasma II and Liquid Friend II, who revealed that their  Yolked modification could protect the team from attacks.

On Day 75, the Worms reached the gate of Blaseball 2, at the bottom of the Depth Chart. The monitor responded that something smells fishy . Now when players visited Blaseball 2 they were greeted by red fish bursting out of the broken gate. These allowed fans to reveal redacted entries in the Library, which in turn led to major discoveries about Pre-History. This day in Blaseball history, and all of its shocking revelations, became known as The Longest Thursday.

Meanwhile, Chorby Soul IV’s soul was stolen by Gloria Bugsnax days later. The Worms returned to a more reasonable depth, assured that their gate-crashing contributions had made history.

The Worms had a so-so showing this season, finishing with a 50-49 record; however, with the power of the various Sun degrees granting additional wins, they ended with 63 wins. The Worms ended the regular season 4th in the Wild League, but were eliminated by the Spies in the first round of the postseason.

The team had a similarly lowkey Election, voting to Shadow Infuse Rivers Rosa and Magnify Loubert Ji-Eun. Their three Replicas faded to Dust, and the team gained one new member in the form of a Roamin’ Jasper Blather.
