COMMUNITY REPORTS

History

Mooney Doctor II, also known as "Twooney Doctor", emerged into this reality somewhere within the Sea of Tranquility, on the Moon. This is where she pitches from, via the use of a lunar-mounted rail gun that sends fast balls flying through the atmosphere and into the open meadow on the outskirts of town where the Breath Mints play their games. Because of the distance, Doctor II relies on the use of conference call technology (Skype, Zoom, etc) to attend both practices and games. On clear nights when the moon is visible, the team will congregate around a small telescope and take turns waving to her.

Doctor II is married to the Earth, and enjoys spending quality time staring at its beauty in the low gravity of her lunar residence. Her counterpart, Mooney Doctor, just so happens to be married to the moon, which is a coincidence, but one that often results in pleasant double dates.

Doctor II has a degree in Art History.

There are unconfirmed reports that Doctor II came into existence as the result of someone placing the Yu-gi-oh card "Toon World" into play, possibly during the passing of Wild Cards during the season 8 election.

Doctor II is sometimes called "8.2ney" by the fans due to her tendency to give up one run in the 8th inning, thus giving up her shut out. She has declined to comment on how she feels about this, but has stated that she "can't even see the batters."

After the destruction of the Moon in the Season 10 ILB finals due to a black hole opening, Doctor II was briefly trapped inside, but escaped before the vastness could consume her. Because of the destruction of her home, she had to play all of Season 11 from Earth, much to her dismay. Throughout Season 11 she began the construction of The Breath Star, where she now lives in space.
