Derrick Krueger was also the alto saxophone player for the [[Seattle Garages Moonlight Warriors]], a science fiction-themed prog rock band. He was largely overlooked during his time pitching for the Garages, and earned the nickname "Unremarkable Derrick" due to a phenomenon in which the other members of the team (with the notable exception of [[Arturo Huerta]]) could not always actively perceive him while he was in the room. Because of this, his exact time of death is unknown. It is possible that the Garages failed to perceive Krueger pitching and thought they had forgotten to put anyone out there, or forgot that Krueger was ever in the pitching rotation at all, when [[Henry Marshallow]] decided to take the mound in the middle of a game.

Derrick “Klutch” Krueger, sometimes known as “Der” to his fans[Who?], was the alto saxophone player for the Seattle Garages Moonlight Warriors, a science fiction-themed prog rock band. A tired fan of crust punk, Krueger divided his time equally among hiking, camping, urban exploration & parkour, and napping. He took it upon himself to find exciting new places to sleep whenever possible and could always be seen carrying his camping supplies, including marshmallows ready to toast. While his records indicate a preference for flat white coffee, he was known to take his coffee black.

While generally considered unremarkable by blaseball fans during his career, he was still well-liked among the team and with one Lil' Roadie in particular, who often pursued him on his snooze spot searches, much to his feigned annoyance.

Krueger’s sleepy nature led to disaster on season 3, day 80 when he fell asleep on the pitcher’s mound just as an umpire went rogue. He did not hear the warnings from his team in time to avoid incineration. The marshmallows he had kept with him melted together then to form his successor, Henry Marshallow. His exact time of death is unknown.

While the exact reason is unknown, Jamazon CEO As Bestos had a personal vendetta against Krueger, which led to decades of conflict between the two.

Since Oliver Loofah's recruitment to the Charleston Shoe Thieves, Krueger has been seen haunting Esme Ramsey and Velasquez Alstott outside of games, catching up with the former Lil' Roadie. The two have been seen skateboarding together, the results of which paid off on Season 17, Day 81, when he inhabited Ramsey and performed a radical skateboard combo incorporating a Handstand (1907) and a Loop-de-Loop (3922), however he was tagged out during his sick tricks.
