Destiny was born to a Kuwaiti and Greenlander couple in Longview, WA. Destiny's parents wanted nothing for their son other than to become the greatest surfer in the Pacific Northwest and thus picked the name "Malik Destiny" ("Malik" meaning "king" in Arabic and "wave" in Greenlandic). However, Destiny had other plans. In a XX18 interview he stated, "My parents meant well, but I'm actually terrified at water and think monarchy is inherently unjust and immoral. There's only one splort where I can safely express both of those without shame: Blaseball."

When he joined the team he also became a hurdy-gurdy player for The Sensational Seattle Garages.

He has a tattoo that reads "Death to Kings" and never takes a shower longer than 2 minutes.

Destiny collects gunblades, but has been ordered by the League to never use one during a game.

Personal Life (Alternate)

The Alternate form of Malik Destiny, known to fans as "Meowlick," "Myalik," or "Nyalik," was born to a Kuwaiti and Greenlander couple in Longview Fields, Lesser Washington. They wanted nothing for their son other than to become the greatest sailor in the Pacific Northwest and thus picked the name "Malik Destiny" ("Malik" meaning "king" in Arabic and "wave" in Greenlandic). However, Destiny had other plans. In a XX18 interview he stated, "My parents meant well, but I'm actually terrified of water and think monarchy is inherently unjust and immoral. There's only one splort where I can safely express both of those without shame: adventuring."

In his Prime Reality, Destiny set out on a heroic quest to vanquish both the King who ruled the lands of LW, and the God who granted them the right to rule. His quest was abruptly ended when he was swapped with his alternate reality self, but he decided that Blaseball was just as fun.

He has a tattoo that reads "Death to Kings", and never takes a shower longer than 2 minutes. During his adventure, he wielded a gunblade inscribed with the words "Kill God :3 nya". Upon joining the Garages, he made an agreement with the League that he would not be allowed to use a gunblade during games, but may instead use a cosmetic enchantment to make any bat he's holding look like a gunblade. As with his prime self, he is a hurdy-gurdy player for the The Sensational Seattle Garages.
