Moses Mason is a lineup player for the Boston Flowers. Mason has been with the Flowers since Season 4, Day 54 due to a feedback swap.

Official League Records

Mason entered the league as a member of the Los Angeles Tacos during Season 1, when they were known as Moses Simmons.

At the end of Season 6, the Flowers won the Sharing Signs blessing, resulting in an increase in batting from ★½  to ★★.

On Season 8, Day 30, Mason’s batting ability was siphoned by Tamara Crankit of the Breckenridge Jazz Hands due to Blooddrain, decreasing it from ★★  to ★.

At the end of Season 9, the Hellmouth Sunbeams won the Mutually Arising blessing, resulting in an increase in batting from ★  to ★½.

On Season 10, Day 58, Mason’s batting ability was siphoned by Randy Dennis, decreasing it to ★★½.

On Season 10, Day 91, Mason’s batting ability was siphoned by Randy Dennis, decreasing it to ★★.

At the end of Season 10, the Unlimited Tacos won the Sharing Signs blessing, resulting in an increase in batting from ★½  to ★★.

During the Flowers' Season 11, Day 99 game against the Hellmouth Sunbeams, Mason partied and received a ½ -star boost to pitching, baserunning, and defense.

History

Moses "Roses" Mason is a genderfluid concrete-flower hybrid. Currently it is unknown how they came to be, but being formed partially out of concrete has only been good for Mason's career.

Previous Career and Recruitment

Mason was introduced to blaseball at a young age when a trademark "wiggly-pitch" by Chambers Simmons smashed their orphanage window. Simmons proceeded to adopt all the orphans inside, Mason included. While they grew up in a supportive family, they felt crowded by all their siblings and decided to move to LA to start a film career.

Mason's career as a film and television actor eventually led them to star as the ██████████ private investigator Ticonderoga "Ty" Robinson in the highly rated procedural series MLB:PI for 8 seasons.  Mason portrayed the determined first baseman for the fictional LA Gridlock, who solved mysterious incidents as they occurred surrounding games at home and on the road. The season 8 finale ended in a cliffhanger leaving Robinson's fate both as a player and the ██████████ investigator's life unknown. Unfortunately, due to Dlisney interference the show was not renewed, with no closure for Robinson's fate. Critics described the show as "procedural drek brought up only by the lead Simmons's portrayal of Robinson with heart and determination."

After the show's cancellation Mason continued acting in minor roles but couldn't shake the need to get back on the field. This led them to sign up for the kickball team as a way to get closer to the team camaraderie and competition. Fortunately the sign up resulted in the formation of the Tacos and Mason was able to experience the splort of blaseball.

Recent Career

Before the game in which Mason was feedback swapped to the Boston Flowers, Mason gifted a mysterious package to Tacos pitcher Wyatt Dovenpart. Though the package has not been seen since, it is still whispered about in the Tacos' locker room as "The Ark of the Dovenant." Mason and Simmons are now on the same team due to a feedback swap. It is as yet unknown how Mason's reunion with their father has affected them.

Immediately after joining the Flowers, Moses was given the nickname "Roses". Since then, teammate Nic Winkler has given them many other "NicNames" including but not limited to "Let Your Flowers Grow" and "Hugs'n'Moses".

On Season 6, Day 99, Moses hit a home-run in the bottom of the 10th inning, scoring 2 points for the Flowers and breaking the tie that sent them into overtime, securing their place in the Season 6 postseason. Cheers from Flowers, Jazz Hands, Millennials, Firefighters, and Crabs fans alike could be heard for miles. Moses, rounding third and running towards home held their bat high above their head, and upon reaching home plate spiked the blaseball bat on the ground and was met by cheering teammates and a Glatorade shower. After the game, Moses was awarded the #99 jersey for their incredible play.

Trivia

Mason frequently signs autographs for fans as Wyatt Mason, Moses Simmons, and Ty Robinson.

Mason speaks fluent Spanish, Finnish, and partial Tagalog in addition to being able to curse in 43 different languages from Earth and the immaterial plane.  Using these skills, they dubbed their own parts for MLB:PI during international syndication.
