Background

Karato Bean is a five time national surf champion. Prior to the first season, Karato had a video game deal in the works, but he decided to enter the ILB in memory of their late father, who she had a tumultuous relationship with. They honestly would much rather be surfing right now.

Season 5 Positional Change

On Day 6 of Season 5, Bevan Wise and Oscar Dollie were teaching York Silk how to do magic in the outfield. Unfortunately, there was an accident that caused chaotic reverberations, after which, all the Fridays found themselves in different positions. Karato decided they liked batting and being in the outfield, saying, "I can finally surf while playing blaseball." It's not entirely clear how they surf the outfield when the Fridays aren't playing near a body of water, and at this point, reporters are too afraid to ask.

Trivia
