JEFF is the mascot for the Hellmouth Sunbeams, and a hellbeast. It is unknown if JEFF was the Sunbeams' mascot prior to the opening of The Book.

JEFF is known to take many forms, the total number of which is still unknown. Currently known forms of JEFF include

• Mascot form
• "Jimmy Dean" form
• Aztec sun stone
• Sleazy 50’s door to door salesman/scam artist
• A shape with lion body and the head of a man, a gaze blank and pitiless as the sun
