On Season 6, Day 80, Whitney was exchanged to the Dale due to Feedback and was replaced by Hahn Fox.

On Season 8, Day 94, a rogue umpire attempted to incinerate Whitney, who was fireproof thanks to fellow Dale hitter Raúl Leal holding the Iffey Jr. The attack was redirected back to the umpire, who was incinerated in the first known instance of an umpire death since the start of Internet League Blaseball. Whitney received an additional half star in batting and pitching after the incineration attempt.

During the Coffee Cup, Whitney played for the Light & Sweet Electric Co. as a lineup player.

History

Background

Known for her "roll with the plunches" attitude, Whitney is respected for her wisdom both on and off the field. Though she began as a player on the Boston Flowers, she was quickly promoted to coach for the team when the previous coach disappeared in the middle of a game, and Whitney was the only player who remembered how to play the game. After winning the match through a miraculous comeback, the Flowers decided that Whitney should remain as coach for the foreseeable future.

Whitney has been frequently seen both on and off the field with fellow Flowers player Caligula Lotus. When asked about a potential relationship, A flustered Whitney declined to respond, but did comment that "Cali keeps the sun off me when we stand next to each other."

After the events of Season 4, Days 54-59 (Vito Kravitz's feedback swap, Hotbox Sato's feedback swap, and Matheo Carpenter's incineration), Whitney's friend Combs Duende helped her calm down by talking her through it and braiding her hair in a milkmaid braid. After Duende's incineration on Season 4, Day 63, she decided to keep this hairstyle in memory of her friend.

Electric Blood Transformation

The following article appeared in several local Miami newspapers following the events of Season 7.

Does Electric Blood Power A New Resolve?

Many in our fair city wondered about the effect of the Dale's "Closed Circuit" Season 7 Blessing. What would electric blood do to a team that that is already amped up? Would they glow more brightly, or overload and blow a fuse?

One player the Blessing seems to have had an invigorating effect on is Beck Whitney. As a vampire who now has electric blood, many speculate that she can literally feed on Miami's energy. It is unknown if it's due to the new blood, but the previously somewhat melancholic batter has in recent weeks taken to making more public appearances. Some have even spotted her at late night raves with water bottles and candy, taking care of her new teammates - Caleb Novak, Avila Guzman, Cannonball Sports, and Sixpack Santiago, with living soundwave Raúl Leal often serving as both sound system and DJ.

This reporter managed to catch Whitney for comment at one of Miami's most exclusive local nightclubs. "Ever since our team was Electrified, I’ve gotten such powerful energy from here," she said. "I'll never forget where I came from, ever, but the future is looking pretty exciting, too. I can’t thank the Dale enough for being so welcoming, even if I can’t quite match their energy." She laughed at her own joke and drifted off as emojis of lotus flowers and boats looped across her new LED sunglasses, a gift from her new teammates.
