COMMUNITY REPORTS

History

Born with only a left ear, somehow Winkler's disability has made him more powerful. Winkler claims that he can monophonically hear which type of pitch is being thrown. However, he can also hear his hecklers twice as well, and rival teams use this to their advantage when he steps up to the plate.

When asked his thoughts about the incineration incident that led to his inclusion in the team, Winkler has only said that he "heard it coming."

Early Life

Winkler's family owns and operates a splorts bar in the Slouth Side of Boston. From a young age, he helped out there, waiting tables and pulling drinks for the patrons. During this time, he picked up his family's deep love of splorts, especially Flootball. His family were some of the most vocal and belligerent splorts fans around, often starting fights at games and antagonizing the opposing teams. While Winkler shared their passion, he was disappointed at their violent ways of showing their love for the splort. He favored the Boston Flowers, a team which his family shunned for their nonviolent approach to playing and their kind supportive fanbase.

Blaseball Start

Winkler started playing blaseball from a young age, moving from Youth League to The Underleagues as he grew. When he finally joined Internet League Blaseball, he passed up several opportunities to join other teams, holding out for his hometown heroes. When the moment finally came, Winkler was ready to go. Already in attendance at the game when Pacheco was incinerated, he simply hopped the fence into the park and he was in the team.

Career with the Flowers

Winkler's family grudgingly support his team, putting up a few blaseball signs in the bar for him. After games, Winkler can be found at the bar, signing autographs and generally having a good time with fans. Recently, he's been seen hanging out with Hiroto Cerna, after the moth was drawn into his family's bar by the many neon signs outside.
