Nic is mentioned in a new IRM proposal for pre-alt Dunn Keyes. The two of them are running buddies and got along well.

FROM: Born with only a left ear, somehow Winkler's disability has made him more powerful. Winkler claims that he can monophonically hear which type of pitch is being thrown. However, he can also hear his hecklers twice as well, and rival teams use this to their advantage when he steps up to the plate. When asked his thoughts about the incineration incident that led to his inclusion in the team, Winkler has only said that he "heard it coming."

TO: Winkler was born with only a left ear, meaning he can only hear monophonically. Winkler has previously disregarded a rumour claiming he can identify the type of pitch thrown by sound alone stating "I'm just good at hitting the ball". When asked his thoughts about the incineration incident that led to his inclusion in the team, Winkler has said "Every incineration is a tragic loss for the splort, and Pacheco was a beloved member of the team who will be missed greatly".
