Gun Bong joined the ILB as a shadows player for the Kansas City Breath Mints with the Return of Blaseball. Gun Bong was notable for being a player who was based off a real person and also for having the only holofoil player card in all of Blaseball.
On Season 18, Day 28, Bong was incinerated by a Rogue Captain. During the Season 18 Latesiesta Bong returned to Shadowed status after miraculously recovering from death.
