Matteo Prestige was a rotation pitcher for the Charleston Shoe Thieves from Season 1 to Season 3. Prestige gained notoriety during the Season 2 playoffs for pitching a shutout in game 3 of the first round against the Dallas Steaks, preventing the Shoe Thieves from elimination. Prestige was incinerated on Day 57 of Season 3 and replaced by Gunther O'Brian.

During Season 3, Prestige swallowed a stray peanut and suffered a severe allergic reaction, significantly impacting Prestige's performance as a pitcher. Despite this, Prestige continued to play until being incinerated during a 21-16 shame loss against the Kansas City Breath Mints on Day 57.
