Season Overview

Season 16 was a milestone for the Worms: this was the first season that they finished with a winning record, and their impressive 64 wins were enough to easily qualify them for the Postseason. However, the team was ultimately eliminated in the quarterfinals by the Houston Spies following some Sun shenanigans.

In the Election, the Worms used their Wills to move Cantus Hojo to the Shadows, and to infuse Patchwork Southwick’s Pitching. The team also worked with the Wild Wings, whose Shadow prospects were subpar, to allow them to Plunder Aurora Blortles. However, tragedy struck the Worms when the Lovers voted to Plunder popular player Pitching Machine, replacing them with Kichiro Guerra.

The Worms were the highest bidders on several Blessings in the Election, but only won one: Shadow Batting Practice.
