History

Hiroto Cerna was flying over the Boston Garden when ze noticed a bright light from the Umpire’s fire. While the rest of the Boston Flowers were quite distraught and distracted in their efforts to save Caligula Lotus from being fully incinerated, Cerna grabbed a blaseball bat and stepped up to the plate. Cerna had been travelling across the country on zir motorcycle, and had picked up some skills playing dangerous and highly risky games of street blaseball.

Cerna was welcomed with open arms as all new players to the Flowers are. Ze has since found a home in Boston, enjoying the experience of exploring the city, and inviting zir large extended family to the city to watch Flowers home games. Ze claims this family includes Mothra as a distant cousin, but so far she has not shown up to any games.  

Cerna communicates using wing movement based semaphore, although the only one who understands this language at the moment is Inez Owens. As such, Owens and Cerna have become fast friends. Still, Owens sometimes censors some of Cerna's more vulgar statements, feeling uncomfortable relaying such language to the rest of the team.
