Personal Life
Vaughan is an Adult Dilsney Fan, and is reported to have said that their favorite Dilsney ride is the Haunted Mansion because "Scrap Murphy lives there now."
As fae has blood type "Love", Vaughan frequently donates to local Blood Blanks in faer area, as a show of comradely goodwill.[1]
Soul Swap
During the fated Soul Swap the Millennials received, Conrad was having a great time spending their post-season once again visiting Scrap Murphy in the Haunted Mansion. However, some form of complication arose, and as Conrad passed close to Scrap's ghost, the two merged. Some fans swore that, in the right lighting, they could see Scrap standing behind them when batting, offering advice and sometimes taking their hands in his own.
This was not against the rules of Blaseball, and having an otherworldly presence as their personal 1 on 1 coach helped Conrad up faer game given their recent performance increase.
Feedback to the Breckenridge Jazz Hands
While playing against the Breckenridge Jazz Hands in Season 6, Conrad noticed flyers from the Jazz Hands mentioning a Dilsney Medley Musical being planned to show at The Pocket. Conrad impulsively joined the other team to be a part of this performance and express their love for Dilsney, swapping with former Jazz Hands player Valentine Games in the process.
Season 10, Day X
During the events of Day X of Season 10, whereupon The Monitor's Hall Stars battled with the The Shelled One and its team of Pods, Sebastian Telephone was incinerated, and Scrap Murphy exited the Hall of Flame to join the Hall Stars. Upon defeating the Shelled One's Pods, Scrap Murphy and the other players on the Hall Stars were released from Blaseball, their contracts fulfilled.
Although Scrap is no longer a ghost, Conrad still visits Scrap from time to time at his apartment in Battin' Island, and still holds onto Scrap's words of wisdom.
