Season Overview

The Ohio Worms made a strong impression in their first season by losing, frequently and with gusto. The team reached Party Time on Day 67, setting a record that would not be broken for the remainder of Blaseball. They took full advantage of this, with players partying 19 times across the next 32 games. The team also finished last not just in their division but the league, leading to their  Bottom Dweller team modification increasing their Overall Rating2.3 → 2.51

The Worms also experienced their first incineration when, late in the season, batter Augusta Chadwell was incinerated and replaced with Ji-Eun Loubert.

In the Election, the Worms benefitted from the first ever round of Free Wills. The team voted to Plunder Pitching Machine; because Machine was already on their lineup, this resulted in no change. They further gave Machine a trust, granting them the  Uncertain modification. The Worms also voted to exchange pitcher Wanda Schenn for NaN.

This Election also saw the Wild Low division sweep a series of Flotation Bubble blessings. These blessings boosted the hitting, pitching, baserunning, and defense stats for each player on the Worms’ active lineup.
