Gloria Bugsnax was the Flowers’ team pet, a venus flytrap carried to away games and kept in the dugout. Xe appeared to be a perfectly normal plant until Matheo Carpenter was incinerated and the Weird Flex went flying. Catching it, Gloria emerged as a fully formed Blaseball Player, shocking xyr new teammates.

While some have speculated about a connection between Gloria and Caligula Lotus, they firmly insist they are not related in the slightest. Theories about the Boston Garden’s propensity to grow blaseball-playing plants abound, but nothing further is known.
