Bugsnax is a 5 inch tall praying mantis found in the Flowers's dugout during Season 4. She quickly grew endeared to the team, so when former player Matheo Carpenter was incinerated, it seemed only natural to promote Bugsnax, who Carpenter had been particularly close with and has been seen on more than one occasion feeding other insects to her.
