Bugsnax is a 5 inch tall praying mantis found in the Flowers's dugout during Season 4.  She quickly grew endeared to the team, so when former player [[Matheo Carpenter]] was incinerated, it seemed only natural to promote Bugsnax, who Carpenter had been particularly close with and has been seen on more than one occasion feeding other insects to her.
