Gloria Bugsnax is a lineup player for the Boston Flowers and has been with the team since Season 4, Day 59 after replacing Matheo Carpenter due to incineration.

History

Gloria Bugsnax was the Flowers’ team pet, a venus flytrap carried to away games and kept in the dugout. She appeared to be a perfectly normal plant until Matheo Carpenter was incinerated and the Weird Flex went flying. Catching it, Gloria emerged as a fully formed Blaseball Player, shocking her new teammates.

While some have speculated about a connection between Gloria and Caligula Lotus, they firmly insist they are not related in the slightest. Theories about the Boston Garden’s propensity to grow blaseball-playing plants abound, but nothing further is known.

-Bugsnax is a 5 inch tall praying mantis found in the Flowers's dugout during Season 4.  She quickly grew endeared to the team, so when former player [[Matheo Carpenter]] was incinerated, it seemed only natural to promote Bugsnax, who Carpenter had been particularly close with and has been seen on more than one occasion feeding other insects to her.
