Despite the dissolution of the Wild High division and the "Grand Finale" in Gamma 4, the Wild High Memorial Championship Belt would be brought back for the Coronation Era, now being passed between all former Wild High teams, including the New York Millennials, San Francisco Lovers, and Baltimore Crabs. Due to the incineration of Anastasia Isarobot in the Season 1 elections, the Belt started in the hands of the Mexico City Wild Wings. The Wild High Memorial Belt is a competition created by Fans of Wild High Teams starting in Season 18. It has no bearing on Blaseball itself.

Rules

Standard rules

The "Belt" starts the Season in possession of the Wild High Team who last had it in the previous Season. If that Team has a Blaseball Series against a another team in the Wild High Division, they must then defend the Belt on the third game of the Series. If the defending Team lose the Game, the Belt is then transferred to the opposing Team. The opposing Team must then defend the Belt from other Wild High Teams — including the Team they have taken the Belt from — when they have Games against them. If they fail to defend the Belt, it is transferred again. The Belt continues to be passed between Wild High Teams until the end of the Regular Season, and does not carry into the Postseason. Because the competition relies on Games played on Blaseball.com, it can only be played during an active Season.

Due to the dissolution of the Wild High division in Season β24, starting in the Coronation Era, the Belt would be passed between all former Wild High teams, including the New York Millennials, Baltimore Crabs, and San Francisco Lovers.

Short Circuits

Starting in Gamma 4, the format of the Belt was changed. Because Wild High had dissolved in Season β24, the Memorial Belt was now open to all former Wild High Teams, including new additions to the competition in the New York Millennials, the Baltimore Crabs, and the San Francisco Lovers. Whereas in The Expansion Era there was only one Belt, during Gamma 4 every participating Team started the Season in the possession of their own Belt. As a result, Teams had the possibility to be both Defenders and opponents during a given game. Futhermore, Teams could amass multiple Belts, and if a Team defeated another participant in possession of multiple Belts, all of these belts would be transferred. This eventually lead to the majority of Belts being possessed by an increasingly smaller number of participating Teams.

Additionally, rather than starting with the Hades Tigers (who held the Belt at the end of Season β24) or the Atlantis Georgias (who held the most Belts at the end of Gamma 4), the passing of the Belt was postponed until a former Wild High Team experienced an incineration, with the affected Team holding the Belt as soon as said incineration occurred. Due to the incineration of Anastasia Isarobot in the Season 1 elections, the Belt started in the hands of the Mexico City Wild Wings. The rules reverted to the "Standard" ruleset, used during the Expansion Era.
