COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Time with the Moist Talkers

Formerly a professional athlete of some renown, Reddick joined the Moist Talkers in Season 1 but was assigned to the shadows roster. In an interview with the Halifax Gazette Reddick stated “It was nice to be out of the spotlight for a bit after being a star of the ring for so long. However a star must eventually shine so I’ll be excited to join the main rotation very soon, if they’ll have me”. While waiting for his opportunity to leave the shadows, Reddick began researching and studying every aspect of the Moist Talkers, from their strategy to their off the field dynamics. Eventually getting his chance in Season 16 his first act upon leaving the shadows was to share his comprehensive “Reddick Regimen” a multi-point plan encompassing individual training strategies, recommended health supplements and even style tips.

Despite his meticulous planning off the field, on the mound Reddick is known for two things: his ostentatious pitching style and his “unique” fashion sense. Supposedly derived from his time “in the ring” Reddick has adopted an approach towards pitching incorporating multiple trick pitches that are highly entertaining but inconsistent in their efficacy. There has been no definitive list of these pitches as Reddick has the tendency to adopt and discard new types of pitches daily but some of the best known include:

  • The Submarine Surprise
  • The Basket-Goal
  • The Black Hole
  • The moss covered, three handled family grudunzle
  • The no frills

While not as dynamic as his pitches, Reddicks fashion style is equally as meretricious. Often sporting his signature sunglasses, tasseled jacket and precisely manicured hair Reddick has taken to not only encouraging his teammates to “glam it up” but also actively begun bedazzling any articles of clothing left unattended in the Moist Talkers locker room. This coupled with his sometimes unintentionally pointed advice has made him run afoul of his teammate Greer Lott, who described Reddick as “Some grandpa who’s stupid advice is somehow helpful, but don’t tell him I said that”.

Apart from Lott, Reddick maintains a jovial relationship with the rest of his teammates, having earned the ironic nickname “Rookie” due to his long stint in the shadows. He has even formed a particular bond with teammate Commissioner Vapor, having claimed that he will “Take CV under [his] wing” much to Vapor’s confusion. This has led to Reddick encouraging Vapor to incorporate various dated advertising strategies into his attempts to market his Twitch stream.

Trivia

  • Reddick is Transmasc
  • Multiple rumours have circulated that Reddick is friends with Nicholas Cage
  • Reddick has severe seasonal allergies which he has worked into his team health plan.
  • Reddick once described Bright Zimmerman as "Oh that guy? He has his moments"
  • After being called a boomer and misunderstanding the meaning of the term Reddick implemented a new pitch into his rotation called the Big Boomer. He has been quoted claiming he "loves throwing boomers" much to the confusion of his teammates.
