Official League Records

Debut

McBlase II joined the league at the end of Season 6, as a pitcher for the Houston Spies. McBlase II is the first player to ever join the league during a season's election results, if one does not count Alternate Reality players replacing themselves.

McBlase II is an Alternate of the Hawaii Fridays pitcher Evelton McBlase, created as a result of the Season 6 blessing Party Line, which states: "Replace a player on your team with the Alternate of a random player from another team." McBlase II took the place of Donia Bailey on the Spies roster, and Bailey retreated to the Shadows. Immediately afterwards, McBlase was randomly selected to swap from pitcher to hitter as a result of The Best Offense blessing targeting Alexandria Rosales, who in turn swapped from hitter to pitcher. McBlase II debuted as a hitter.

History

Background

Evelton McBlase II, as the press have taken to referring to him soon after he mysteriously replaced Donia Bailey in the Spies' lineup, appears to be a near-perfect replica of Evelton McBlase.

Origin Theories

Theories abound about where he originated, some claiming he is a Spy's agent who has undergone extensive plastic surgery, others providing compelling evidence that he may have been a genetic clone prepared in a secret underground facility. There are even some who take to the conspiracy theory that the Spies' Evelton McBlase is the original, who was kidnapped from the Fridays and replaced with a fake McBlase. All agree, though, that he is in some way connected with a covert, long-term Spies operation to study and reproduce the incredible vibes of the Our Lady of Perpetual Friday.

Deviant Behavior

Evelton II has demonstrated some amount of deviation from the behavior of the original, generally presenting as odd quirks of speech or disconcerting habits, but reports of villainous laughter and mustache twisting point towards something more sinister. The Houston Spies deny these reports whole-heatedly.
