Paula Mason is a batter for the Dallas Steaks. Mason is currently with the Steaks, due to Feedback, having swapped teams with Thomas Kirby on Season 4, Day 4. Mason was previously with the Firefighters since Season 2, Day 26, due to the incineration of Tyreek Olive.

Official League Records

On Season 3, Day 20, in a match against the Yellowstone Magic, Paula Mason caught a stray peanut in their mouth, which dropped their batting rating from 2 stars to 1/2 stars. At the end of the season, Mason received two blessings. First, Team-Building Exercise brought their batting rating up to 3.5 stars, then the blessing Performance Enhancing Demons boosted their batting stat to 4 stars.

Formerly the in-house splortscaster for the Firefighters, Paula has witnessed all the greatest triumphs and failures in Firefighter history. She started her career with the Firefighters' while reporting on the Great Chicago Blaseball Fire as the first on the scene to interview the newly formed team.

Paula has seen and reported on many an incineration, most notable among them being that of previous leadoff hitter Tyreek Olive, who was incinerated on Season 2, Day 26 of The Discipline Era during a regular season game against the Los Angeles Tacos. Upon seeing Olive's bat hit the mound with no one left to wield it, Paula famously stood from her splortscaster seat, descended a fire pole, and took up the bat with a determination that left many fans in the stadium shocked into silence.

Like all of us, she is from Chicago. Her jersey number is 773.

After the third season, Paula Mason woke in their bedroom and went to the mirror, being confronted with an unfamiliar but calming spark in their eyes, and the knowledge that violence lived in their heart now. Paula had become one of the three players on the Firefighters to receive a fragment of Landry Violence's spirit, and now gained significant new strength.
