Mickey Woods plays first base for the Philly Pies.

Originally a construction worker, she was convicted of manslaughter after hitting a rock with a lead pipe into the head of a bystander while on her mandated 15-minute break. She was sentenced to five years in prison, but the Pies, taking an interest in her hitting, made a deal with the judge, a Philly native and Pies fan, for her to serve her sentence playing for the team. An additional three years was added to her sentence for her part in developing the signature Philly Pie blaseball play known as Philladeltrix: The Marquis of Pain.

Mickey had numerous tattoos, including, as a devout Quaker, the names of the Valiant Sixty on her back. She was deeply repentant for the death she caused.

Since the abolition of the Pie-nitentiary, Mickey served the rest of her sentence through community service and helping with local social work groups. The aid to a community she unwittingly harmed was a balm to her Quaker soul. Mickey's favorite flower was the iris. She spent most of her free time working in the Pies community garden.

Mickey's regular order at the Tastykake food court is well known and now available as the Number 5: Two slices of pie and a large coffee with two tablespoons of sesame oil.
