COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Little is known about him, the name "Juan Rangel" being an obvious pseudonym. He is unrelated to Hendricks Rangel. He was the City of Philadelphia's godson.

After seeing a photograph of Philly Pie's GM Sam Hinkie giving the state of Delaware a big bag of money, Rangel kidnapped Hinkie in what became known as the Delaware Affair. The affair ended with Rangel releasing Hinkie unharmed and he was allowed to remain on the team on the condition of taking anger management therapy.

After Rangel's death, the sun did not shine in Philadelphia for a week. The grief caused by Rangel's passing allows the Philly Pies to perform their signature play Philladeltrix: The Marquis of Pain.
