The Hawaii Fridays are a Blaseball team in the Chaotic Good Division of the Good League. They are an inaugural member of the Blaseball League. Officially recognized as the most chill team, they frequently arrive late to games as they are always on island time.

Season Results

Season 1

Spent mostly "just getting into the swing of things, dude."

Season 2

Entering The Discipline Era with a marked lack of discipline, the Fridays struggled particularly on the pitcher's mound. Two batters were killed on the field by umpires. This harshed some vibes, but replacements Hendricks Rangel and York Silk brought the vibes back. With 45 wins and 54 losses overall, Fridays tied the Los Angeles Tacos for 5th worst in the league. Fridays players were observed to not have their eyes on the pennant so much as their eyes on the grill.

In the Season 2 postseason, 8 year old York Silk received the Gunblade Bat as a blessing from his teammates.

Season 3

The Fridays did not show up for the first 6 games of the season.

Trivia

  • There is no Fridays uniform. Players wear whatever they want—sometimes in team colors, sometimes not.
  • The Fridays are blessed/cursed by Our Lady of Perpetual Friday. For the Fridays it is always island time. Players cannot feel the passing of the hours, players cannot experience fear, despair, elation anything besides a heightened feeling of chill. No matter the temperature the Fridays experience the weather as a cool 70 degrees with a pleasant ocean breeze. The smell of bbq smoke lingers around them. They are fun at parties.
  • There is no official team mascot. At various times, the Fridays mascot has been: any bird in the vicinity of the game currently going on (often Hawaiian honeycreepers, such as Fletcher Yamamoto himself), a fan dressed up as a volcano, Our Lady of Perpetual Friday, C O C O N U T, or literally anything silly that shows up to the game.
  • In the lead-up to Season 2, the Hawaii Fridays almost underwent a franchise name change due to the interest of Blaseball fan and T.G.I. Friday's restaurant magnate Daniel R. Scoggin. The naming rights contract was not able to be finalized before the season commenced, as Mr. Scoggin became lost while attempting to sail himself and his family from Santa Cruz to O'ahu for final negotiations. Mr. Scoggin was still able to secure a minor sponsorship for the Mascot naming rights via teleconference from a payphone at the Ubara Beach Resort (鵜原海水浴場)[1] in the Chiba Prefecture (千葉県)[2].
  • The Fridays do not have a proper stadium and prefer to play wherever the vibes feel the best. Examples of this include games being held on beaches, in jungles, and underwater.
  • The official drink of The Fridays is Baja Blast.
  • The Hawaii Fridays are owned by Rebecca Black.
  • The Fridays traditionally set up their snack and frosty drink carts next to third base. This leads to many Fridays players getting "thrown out trying to steal third" as they forget about the game and leisurely stroll over to check out the goods whenever the carts are in sight. Efforts to move the carts to a less accessible and game-altering place have been strongly resisted by Fridays batter Elijah Valenzuela because "all such things should be freely available to the people" and by pitcher Stevenson Heat because he "just gets real hungry sometimes, you know?"
