Suns

Sun 1

The original sun forged by Namerifeht on The First Day, 1st Edition. Sun 1 was forged and set in Season A, and began to build pressure over the course of the prehistory eras until finally in Season E day 99 with the Sun's pressure at 94.52% the following warning appeared;

WARNING: SUN 1 LOW FUEL
PRESSURE AT CRITICAL

Following this, Sun 1 was Refilled by Namerifeht.

Sun 1 (Alternate)

As revealed by "A Sun" in the Library, before the start of the Discipline era during "Season 0" the sun was Refilled by Namerifeht, had it's Alternate's Called, had it's Alternate's Bridged, and had it's Alternates Set.

Over the course of the Discipline Era the pressure grew from incinerations, runs, and wins until in Season 10 Day 113 when the Sun collapsed into the Black Hole.

The Black Hole

The Sun collapses

In Season 10 Day when Tot Fox scored the tenth run in the final game of the Internet Series, the following message appeared:

THE CRABS ACCUMULATE 10
THE SUN COLLAPSES
THE MOON IS SWALLOWED
THE BLACK HOLE FORMS
SUN 2 RISES

This was the first instance of the Black Hole weather appearing in the league, with it's official introduction being in the Season 10 Election where the Black Hole decree passed, and it, alongside Sun 2 were the only weather to appear in Season 11.

Sun 2

Sun 2 was set when Sun 1 collapsed into a Black Hole on Season 10 Day 113. It was one of only two weathers to appear in Season 11, and after that occasionally appeared as a weather condition going forward.

After the collapse of Sun 1, the Sun(Sun) going Supernova, and the Nullification of the other decree suns, Sun2 was the final sun remaining at the end of the Expansion Era.

Sun (Sun)

Sun (Sun) first appeared in the Season 19 Election with the following message:

  • A DEBT II
    • THE LEAGUE WAS LEVERAGED
      SUN(SUN) WAS FORGED
      SUN(SUN) WAS SET
    • BLASEBALL WAS RAISED BY A SECOND POWER
      • + Tgb sun squared.png Sun(Sun)

It was set upon the league after the Repeal Turntables Decree failed to pass thanks to a Grand Bargain made by the Boss. Sun (Sun) caused "All Wins and Unwins to be Squared". In practice this meant that the unwins (-1 wins) became 1 win, but also caused the unwins that came from the Black Hole to do the same, rather than removing a win as it had previously done. Additionally this led to the message from scoring ten runs to be changed to "The Black Hole swallowed the Runs and burped at the (team who was scored on)."

The game was called as a tie.

Supernova

In Season 20 a gauge became visible on the Standings page of the main blaseball site, it featured an image of Sun (Sun) and a blue bar indicating the "pressure" in a percentage. The Pressure was seen to increase slightly with every run and incineration. This was later supported by the Library Entry for A Sun, which showed the gauge for Sun 1 as it increased on Ruby Tuesday.

During the Semicentennial an additional method for increasing the Sun (Sun)'s pressure was demonstrated, this time from forging Replicas from players in the game. When Nicholas Mora of the Rising Stars was stolen by the Vault Legends, this resulted in the gauge reaching 100%, and the Sun "Exploding" and becoming a Supernova. This ended the reversal of the Turntables rules that Sun (Sun) provided, turning wins back into unwins.

Over the Earleason of Season 24, the Supernova could be seen on the Standings page, with the Coin in front of it, which seemed to result in a surplus of Supernova Eclipse games that were capable not only of incinerating players, but incinerating entire teams. The Supernova was also visible on the center of the Depth Chart.

Black Hole (Black Hole)

On Season 24 Day 27 the Supernova collapsed with the following message:

RIFFING INTENSIFIES
SUPERNOVA COLLAPSES
REALITY TEARS
STRANDS BRIDGED
ENDS ZONED
BLACKHOLE(BLACKHOLE) DRAINS
PULSAR (PULSAR) BEAMS

This resulted in the new Blackhole(Blackhole) appearing and replacing the Sun(Sun) weather condition. The Blackhole(Blackhole) worked much the same as with the origional Blackhole, however instead of nullifying wins of the opposing team, it would consume 10 wins and be "agitated" nullifying items, ballpark modifications, League Rules, and Teams.

On Day 82, the Black Hole(Black Hole) began to expand over the navigation map, Entangling the teams who were in the corner of the Horizon, and nullifying any team it made contact with until on Day 99 the Black Hole (Black Hole) nullified Blaseball.

Shortly after the Black Hole (Black Hole) burped, and Blaseball was compressed by the Gamma.
