COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

History

Olive sprang fully formed from the head of Calder's Flamingo in Chicago. They were a star batter for the Firefighters during the team's first season and would go on to a strong start in the second.

At some point, Olive was known as Justice Olive and was the wearer of the Justice Blindfold before it was passed on to Justice Spoon.

However, tragedy would strike as Tyreek Olive was incinerated on Season 2, Day 24 of The Discipline Era during a game against the Firefighters' bitter rivals, the Los Angeles Tacos, when they jumped in front of a rogue umpire to protect their protege Justice Spoon.

In Season 5, Olive's jacket, believed by the firefighters to be lost in the chaos of incineration, was recovered by the Commissioner and offered as a blessing. Firefighter fans vowed to #reclaimjacket618 in honour of them.

Like all of us, they are still from Chicago. Their jersey number was 618.

Release

Following the defeat of the Shelled One and the Season 10 elections, Tyreek Olive was released. They are said to have rejoined the eternal flame that burns at the heart of Chicago to rest with the city that gave them a purpose, protect the flame, and carry the torch to light the path for all Chicagoans to come.

Some Firefighters have claimed that, where they may have once heard the soul of Chicago and ringing fire alarms calling them to battle, they now hear Olive's voice in their ears.

A statue of Tyreek Olive was erected just beyond the home run wall of the Fire House, depicting them as an angel holding a road flare like a torch.
