Coaching Staff

The original Chicago Firefighters once had a manager and a coach. Legends claim that the original coach was even Chicago itself.

The Great Chicago Blaseball Fire destroyed the original Fire House, the original players, and the management in a tragic accident. When the Chicago firefighters arrived at the blaze and put it out, they stuck around, forming the Firefighters team known today. It is now considered a player-owned team, as all players are the coach and the manager.

The only other member of the coaching staff is the Third Base Coach. Each game, a lucky fan is chosen from the stadium and promoted to Third Base Coach, gaining the title Coach Casimir Pulaski Day. At the end of the game, the fan is subsequently demoted and their original name returned.

A rivalry between the Firefighters and the Hades Tigers erupted on Day 81 of Season 2, when the Firefighters official Twitter tweeted: "We are from chicago"[1]. The Tigers official Twitter responded "Um, so?"[2], a direct insult to the Firefighters' honor. Fans have stated that the rivalry will continue until the Hades Tigers are eradicated completely.
