Caleb Alvarado is a pitcher for the Chicago Firefighters, and has been with the Firefighters since the start of Internet League Blaseball.

Six different individuals have played Caleb on the field, and there is now a superstition on the role in Firefighter's culture.

Caleb joined the team following a series of arsons which destroyed his family's legitimate business operations. In order to ensure that his home team would win precisely when they were told to, Caleb was placed at the top of the Firefighter's pitching rotation, creating a stable betting environment for all the good Chicago families to rely on.

Caleb uses a special set of pitcher's talons made from folded steel and always shows up to the mound with a new sword from his collection to display. In his off time, he enjoys sharpening his steel and volunteering at the local Animal Rescue.

Like all of us, he is from Chicago. His jersey number is 217.
