Batista was born and named in accordance with the prophecy. Originally from northern California, they moved to Los Angeli for college. After graduating, she applied to be a brewmaster at the Society for Internet Blaseball Research thinking it was an in-house barista position. Upon arriving at the Escher Complex on her first day, they were surprised to find the job involved far more chemistry and potions than expected, but she rose to the challenge and now performs both duties equally.
