Vampires
(Redirected from Vampire)
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.
Vampires are not entities charged with the enforcement of the rules of Blaseball[citation needed], nor are they an ancient line of beings who feed upon the personal nouns of their unsuspecting victims.
Vampires are generally understood to be obligate hematophages, or individuals who predominantly gain their nutrition through blood. A vampire's physical appearance can be as varied as that of their original species, making it impossible to create a definitive list of physical qualities common to all vampires.
Vampires may or may not be undead, but generally it's considered more than a little rude to ask.
Vampirism and Siphoning
Blaseball players who have gained the Siphon modification, or engage in siphoning during Blooddrain weather, are generally not considered to be vampires, though several (such as Halexandrey Walton) underwent transformations in line with common depictions of vampires following their new modification. The distinction between vampires and players who Siphon also becomes blurred when considering players who happen to be inorganic entities (e.g. Pitching Machine) who, to date, appear to have consumed nothing but blood.
